Hanuman is hailed as the first superhero film to be produced in Telugu. Prasanth Varma, who is best known for directing movies like Awe (2018) and Zombie Reddy, wrote and directed it (2021).
Varma is a pioneering director who is well known for his revolutionary concepts that reshape Telugu culture.
On May 29, 2021, the day before his birthday, he announced the movie, and Indian superhero fans have since expressed interest in it.
The official start of filming, which also occurred to be the first day, was a puja ceremony in June 2021. In September 2021, Dulquer Salmaan, Mollywood’s hottest star, unveiled the film’s first trailer.

The teaser presentation ceremony was postponed since the industry was startled by the passing of seasoned Superstar Krishna, despite it being confirmed that the teaser would be published on November 15, 2022. On Monday, November 21, the teaser was finally made public. It is an action mythological drama with magnificent VFX.
